When does Recruitment launch?
Matchmaking opens to active members next quarter. Sign up for a free MyntBit account now and you'll be eligible for the first wave once the partner network goes live.
Do I, or the recruitment partner, charge me anything?
No. Candidates pay nothing, ever. Recruitment partners are paid by the placing firm, the standard market arrangement. There is no fee to be matched, to take exploratory calls, or to be submitted.
How do I know if I'm eligible?
Eligibility is based on platform activity (problem-solving track record, contribution score, profile completeness) and a short qualification step. The full criteria will be published when matchmaking opens.
I don't want my resume sent around. How does the review process work?
Every introduction starts with a conversation about your goals, not a resume blast. You can redact contact details before submission, and your resume only goes to a firm after you explicitly agree to that submission. No exclusivity is required.
How is this different from recruiters on LinkedIn?
We do not work with recruiters who spray-and-pray. The partner network is small and curated: each partner has long-running relationships with a tight set of firms and a strong hire-to-submit ratio. Introductions are targeted, not bulk.
Is this only for trading firms and hedge funds?
Trading firms, hedge funds, and prop shops are the core. Some adjacent quant-heavy roles (quant data science, quant infra, quant ML research) are in scope where partner coverage exists. Non-quant SWE roles are not in scope.
Can I apply if I'm not in the United States?
Yes. Coverage is strongest for NYC, Chicago, London, and Amsterdam, with active partners for Hong Kong, Singapore, and select EU hubs. Partner availability varies by region and is shown in your match dashboard.
