What's in each guide

Everything you need before round one

Each firm page collapses overview, interview process, comp, roles, and prep into one scannable view. No more piecing it together from five tabs.

01 · Process

Round-by-round breakdown

Every guide lays out the actual stages, OA, phone screen, onsite, with duration and what each round tests. No guessing what's coming next.

02 · Comp

Real comp, not 'competitive'

Intern, new-grad, and senior bands sourced from the /comp dataset. See base, bonus, sign-on, and equity for each level.

Intern$11k/mo
New grad$400k–$450k
Senior$700k–$1.2M

03 · Roles

Pick the right desk

Each firm splits roles differently: trader vs researcher vs dev vs analyst. Side-by-side cards show what each desk does and the skills they ask for.

04 · Prep

Train on tagged questions

Every firm guide links to a filtered question pool tagged from real interview rounds. Practice exactly what they ask, not generic LeetCode.

Market Makers

Quote tighter than the next firm on the screen

Firms whose desks live and die on bid-ask spread. Jane Street, Optiver, IMC, and HRT lean on mental-math speed, options pricing, and round-by-round fitness pressure that show up in every interview.

Frequently asked

Questions about firm guides

Where does the data on each firm come from?
Each guide is built from a mix of public reporting, the firm's own career page, and patterns we see across submissions to the Myntbit comp dataset. Interview process and stage descriptions come from candidates we've spoken to and from public sources like Glassdoor.
How current is the compensation data?
Compensation ranges are refreshed each quarter against the Myntbit /comp dataset. Numbers shown are the most recent confirmed bands; the actual landing page shows the year. Year-over-year drift is non-trivial, so the year tag matters.
Can I see real interview questions for each firm?
Yes. Each firm guide links straight into a /training filter for that firm so you can practice the tagged question pool. The full library covers 500+ questions across firms, roles, and difficulty bands.
Why do you only cover quant firms?
Myntbit is built for quant interview prep specifically. The interview surface, probability, time series, options Greeks, low-latency C++, mental math, is narrow enough that a focused board beats generic SWE-style coverage. Adjacent quant-heavy roles (data science, infra) are in scope where coverage exists.
How do I add a firm that isn't here?
Hit /contribute and let us know which firm you're interviewing at. We add new firm guides as the question library and submission count for that firm crosses our coverage threshold.
